I took my students to Philadelphia last week for the Honor Society outing for the year. Not many opportunities to set up for a good shot while keeping my paranoid eyes on my students, but I did manage to snap a few.
They thought it would be funny if they picked his nose... and I agreed.
I went to MAKE to make a vase... then he bought me flowers to make me happy... then I, of course, had to make a triptych out of it.

A beautiful afternoon in the park with Anthony, Jana, and Bryan...
I originally headed over the Whitestone because my good friend Jana asked me to take a particular (adorably concepted) photo for her. She and her husband are moving out of the first apartment they've shared and want a photo of the street sign from the corner to hang in their new apartment. Here is the original SOOC shot:
A few minutes of editing to get rid of the telephone cables, add a tree for balance, and boost the contrast a bit and... voila!
Then we headed across the street to the beautiful Astoria Park to shoot some more:
